Programs
Green Valley has a wide range of
programs and activities for residents of
all ages. Some of these programs and
activities are open to non-residents on a
limited basis and at a higher cost.

Winter and Fall Stroke Clinics
Th
e association runs two stroke clinics each year for
children 4 to 18 of age. The Winter session runs from
January to March, and the Fall session runs September to
November.
Summer Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are divided into 6 proficiency levels, and run
from mid-June through mid-August. There are both
morning and evening classes.
Summer Swim Team
Green Valley has maintained a summer swim team
program for over 40 years. The team operates under the
umbrella of GVHRA, but is run as an independent
organization with oversight by GVHRA Board and staff.
The team, part of the South Coast Swim Conference,
practices from March through July with swim meets on
Saturdays. The team is supervised by paid coaches and
parent volunteers. Practices are scheduled in the
afternoon while school is in session, and in the mornings

Aqua Tone Classes
Green Valley offers water aerobic classes on Tuesday,
Thursday & Saturday mornings at the North Pool.

Facility Rentals
Who Can Rent
Green Valley has two nice air conditioned clubhouses
equipped with kitchens, tables and chairs that are
available to homeowners and authorized renters to rent.
Rentals must be made at least 10 working days prior to date desired,
no exceptions.
Rental Rates
$160 - first four hours
$40 - each additional hour (must include set-up & clean-up time)
$500 - security deposit (separate check that we hold)
Fees may be paid with Visa or Mastercard (3% transaction fee.)
Insurance Information Needed to Rent
In addition to these fees, you will have to contact your
homeowners insurance company and tell them that you
need a certificate of liability insurance in the amount of
$500,000 that names Green Valley Homeowners
Recreation Association as additional insured for the date
of the rental. The insurance company can email
(gvhra@aol.com) or fax (714-962-4309) this to the
Association office. This must be turned in at least one
week prior to rental date.
Adult Clubhouse, 17250 Los Jardines West,
maximum occupancy is 63
Family Clubhouse, 10739 Los Jardines West,
maximum occupancy is 58
Pools
The pools are locked a require a key for access.
Only Green Valley residents and their guests are
allowed access to the pools.
North Pool
Located at 10824 Los Jardines East (on north side of
Green Valley.) The pool is heated year-round. This pool
hosts the Green Valley Swim Team, Aqua Tone classes
and is used by Green Valley Rec Stroke Clinics. There
are lane lines in the pool for those wishing to swim laps.
South Pool
Located at 10739 Los Jardines West (on south side of
Green Valley.) The pool is heated April to December
1st. This pool hosts nine weeks of learn to swim
lessons from June to August.
Adult Pools
Located at 17250 Los Jardines West (on the north side
of Slater, adjacent to the Adult Clubhouse.) The pool is
heated April through November. You must be at least 21
years old to use this pool or be on the pool deck.

Registration Form
Services
Fax/Copying
You can fax and make copies in the Green Valley Office.
To send a fax, it is $1 per page. Out of the country is $15
per minute.
To receive a fax, it is $.50 per page. Please have sender
include your cell number on the cover sheet and we will
contact you upon receiving
To make copies $.10 per page.

Document Shredding
Semi-annually we host a Community Shredding Day, in
the months of January and July. Residents are welcome to
bring their personal papers and watch them get shredded.
Dumpsters
Dumpsters in the Association parking lots are for facility
users only. They are not be to used for dumping.
Republic Services will come to your home free of charge
four times a year to pick up 10 items. Their phone number
is 714-847-3581.
Recycle
Recycle your batteries in the Association Office. We will
take them to the Household Hazardous Waste Center
when the container is full. Want your own container? Stop
by Rainbow Environmental Services to pick one up --
they're free!
