Green Valley has a wide range of programs and activities for residents of all ages. Some of these programs and activities are open to non-residents on a limited basis and at a higher cost. Click the buttons below to get more specific information.

Winter and Fall Stroke Clinics
The association runs stroke clinics each year for children 4 to 18 of age. The winter session runs from January to March, and the fall session runs September to November. For the Winter 2021 Stroke Clinic information click hereand for a registration form, click here.
Summer Swim Lessons
Swim lessons are divided into 6 proficiency levels, and runs from mid-June through mid-August. There are both morning and evening classes. Click here for information on the lessons and here to get a registration form.
Summer Swim Team
Green Valley has maintained a summer swim program for over 40 years. The team operates under the umbrella of GVHRA, but is run as an independent organization with oversight by GVHRA Board and staff. The team practices from April through July and is supervised by paid coaches and parent volunteers. Practices are scheduled in the afternoon while school is in session, and later continue in the mornings during summer break. Click here for a brochure about the team. Wednesday Play Group
DescriptionGVHRA hosts a weekly play group for parents/ grandparents and their children, ages birth to 5 years. The group meets on Wednesday mornings from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. in the Preschool Room located next to the Association Office. This is a time for socialization and a chance to become acquainted with others in our community.ActivitiesPlay activities that encourage interaction between children, arts and crafts, songs, games, family gather-ings, holiday parties, etc.FeeDues of $15 will be paid on a monthly basis. Who can Rent
Green Valley has two nice clubhouses equipped with kitchens that are available to homeowners and authorized renters to rent. Rentals must be made at least 10 working days prior to date desired, no exceptions.

How to Rent
In addition to these fees, you will have to contact your homeowners insurance company and tell them that you need a certificate of liability insurance that names Green Valley as additional insured for the date of the rental. The insurance company can fax this to the Association office at 714-962-4309. This must be turned in at least one week prior to rental date.Feel free to stop by the Recreation Office during office hours to check the reservation book or pick up a keys to take a look at the clubhouses.For info call the office at 714-962-8205. We can check the book and hold a date for you for a few days.The Family Clubhouse is located in the courtyard directly across from the Recreation Office. The Adult Clubhouse is located north of Slater, next to the Adult Pool. The use of the pool is not included in the rental.
Located on north side of Green Valley. Open year round to all residence. The pool is locked and requires a key for access. The pool is only heated during the months of Mid-March through Mid-November. This pool is used by stroke clinics and the neighborhood swim team while the pool is heated and access is restricted during these times, as well as four Saturday meets a year during the months of June and July.

Located midway between the other two pools in Green Valley along Los Jardines West. Open year round to all residence. Pool is locked and requires key for access. The pool is only heat during the months of May through November. You must be at least 21 years old to use this pool or be on the pool deck.

Fax/Copying ( Not while office is closed)
You can fax and make copies in the Green Valley Office.To send a fax, it is $1 per page. Out of the country is S15 per minute. To receive a fax, it is $.50 per page. Please have sender include your home number on the cover sheet and we will contact you upon receiving To make copies $.05 per page.Our fax number is 714-962-4309.
We semi-annually have a Shredding Day, usually during the month of January and July. Residents are welcome to bring their personal papers and watch them get shredded. The City of Fountain Valley also does a Shredding Day after April 15th.
Dumpsters are no longer being brought into the community twice a year. Rainbow Disposal provides four time a year pickup of up to 10 items for each residence. There phone number is 714-847-3581.
Recycle your batteries and old cell phones in the Association Office. We will take them to the Household Hazardous Waste Center when the container is full. Want your own container? Stop by Rainbow Environmental Services to pick one up -- they're free!
